Mukah TRIP!! 26-27/7/2012

Yeap, I'd went to Mukah and stay overnight for a night. My friends from Methodist Pilley that I had studied with them for Diploma in Computer Science for 1 semester before coming to Taylor's, had planned this trip a long time ago. And I really want to go to the beach to relax my mind. Since we are all free,so we decided to go on the 26th of July which is on Thurday..

The ticket one way was RM20, both ways was RM34.. Bought the Lanang bus..
The bus will be starting the journey at 10am..

Yeah not many ppl at all.. only 4 of me and my friends plus 2 more adults...

Unfortunately, our bus broke down after just 45 minutes - 1 hour of driving... no aircon and the bus cannot move.. zzz

One of the passenger which was a lady told us that Lanang bus always break down easily.. Haha so I hope, you, readers, will be more caution a bit.. :)

In the other bus, which make us wait more than an hour! zzz

Finally arrice the destination, the journey was suppose to be around 3 hours..
But bcoz of the delay, it took us almost 5 hours!
Grrr Half day gone already...

 Woot! Good weather!!

The tallest building in Mukah, according to my friend..
Its a government office building.

My friend drove us around since he is familiar with Mukah, and his sister is living in Mukah..

According to my friend, the only gas station in Mukah currently..
There's gonna be another gas station soon(Petronas)

And now... KINGWOOD RESORT HOTEL!!!

Haha yea, there's literally no people around..

 The lobby..
It was really hot as they did not open the aircond.. Perhaps to save some overhead cost
since there is no customer around..

Just come out of the lift, and can see our room already..
Haha no customer till we are so lucky..

We got the premier seaview room which cost us RM100.. AFTER TAX!!! it is really worth it!
Plus, the room has 2 QUEEN BED!!! haha that's just very cheap!
Make sure you call up to them and book as walk-in rate will be much more expensive.. maybe around RM160..
Kingwood Resort Mukah Telephone number: 084-873888
(bear in mind this is the number if you call from Malaysia lines)

A short clip of the room that I took.. Available in HD too.. :)

After checking in and put our bags in the hotel, My friend brought us to Marrybrown for lunch. We were quite excited as there is no Marrybrown in Sibu, But I heard there is going to have 1 soon..

After our lunch, my friend brought us to a park, not sure what's the name.. But there is this famous festival, called PEsta Kaul and it would be held here, and the place will be very crowded.. But it is usually held at almost the end of the year.

The only traffic light in Mukah.. :)

After that, we decided to go and buy some snacks for the night...

The Kingwood hotel in Mukah town..

It looks very jam bcoz of the bazaar and that time was 5pm where ppl come back from work..
Heading back to hotel for the beach!!

Parked in the VIP parking slot since there is no one.. XD

Getting ready for the beach..

 Love the sunset!

 Our snacks!

The fatest boy in the picture is ME!

For our dinner, we decided to dine in the hotel since my friend don't wanna go out for dinner.
So we decided to try the Ramadan special bcoz other menu are quite expensive..
and we also ordered 2 honeydew sago (RM7 each)
we did actually went downstairs to dine in their restaurant, but because they did not on the aircond there too, so we request them to send the food to our room... hehehe XD

Ordered 4 sets of Ramadhan ala-carte, Set B..
Notice the Lambogini special? It is actually a lamb meat dish...

 While waiting for the food!..

We also requested them to bring up some ice, because there is no fridge(no extra charge)..

 Yammmmmm Senggggg!!!

I think the whole dish is not bad... the lambogini special(lamb) si quite nice.. the downside is that, there is quite a lot of bones.. and rice is a bit hard too..

Woke up early the next day to catch the sunrise!

Lucky enough to have an aeroplane trail that morning.!

 Last night's leftover.. XD

 Photo for remembrance.. :)

How our room looks before leaving... :D

After checking out, my friend's sister brought us for breakfast, in a shop where is there is KAmpua mee..

The kampua mee is quite nice actually, because the taste a bit different than the usual Kampua mee
in Sibu.

Since we still have some time, my friend brought us to the wet market..

Freshly catch from the river...

 The first sago refinery..

So, that's all folks! Hope this will help some of you to plan your trip to Mukah.. Till then, cheers~
